My love for art and creativity began from a young age, when I taught myself painting and drawing. My passion for everything in the universe that brims with life, for the latent and profound meanings hidden from the explicit sight of humans, emerged after my exposure to the holistic sciences. It is here that I discovered the mysterious and esoteric symbols that bring together what is essentially human with what is divine. In my paintings and creations I try to give shape to the emotions, memories, and discoveries born out of these experiences; this is why I titled this collection "Meeting with myself". Who I was, who I am and who I will be is transformed from feelings into art form, and then into feelings again when the painting is "felt" by others. Painting is a magical form of communication: first with myself, where an emotion whispers to be heard, then with others. Painting, an art that allows me to dissolve internal blocks, conflicts and treat emotional wounds in a therapeutic act that involves the eye, the window of the soul and the hand, the gesture that creates my artworks.What is communicated through this art form, the emotion that knocks at the door of my consciousness, is often unknown. It is only after the painting is completed that the shapes reveal their secret message. My colors, shapes, and materials hit the eyes, but they really aim for the soul. My paintings bear messages from and for the soul.
